How things have changed since I first started as an apprentice plumber, It was not unusual for a house to have just one kitchen tap and an outside toilet in lead pipe usually wrapped in newspaper or old socks to stop from freezing.  If you still have this we could repair it for you !

We do carry out all plumbing repairs, instantly if possible from leaking taps to knocking pipes, taps that refuse to turn on, taps that refuse to turn off,  blocked toilets, overflowing toilets, cisterns, tanks and leaking hot water cylinders, showers, sink mixers etc.

There is an endless choice of showers which we could help you make up your mind about, we install many digital shower mixers which could be installed so they are unaffected by other taps in use at the same time ( Aqualisia Quartz ) ordinary bath shower or bar mixers which give excellent showers from Combination boilers.

We also supply and install Electric Showers, ( Triton, Bristan, Mira )  these supply a reasonable and quite satisfactory shower, heating the water as they run, so stand alone without the need for a hot water system to be running or the availability of a supply of stored water.

Water saving is on our minds these days, all equipment is supplied with discussion with our customers, the old outside high level toilets which flushed like Niagara Falls were very good in their time but they used probably over 12 litres of water for every pull of the handle, the toilets we fit today can flush away all that is required with 6 litres or even less on a dual flush cistern.

Bath and basin taps can be Mixers, Lever Tops, Quarter Turn, wastes can be popup, plug and chain etc. etc.

I suspect we will never get back to pumping out two buckets of water from the well, standing them on the draining board and making them last all day !  We can however wash our cars, clean our houses etc. all with water of excellent drinking quality , subject to the correct installation of plumbing supplies and taps.

We work with several kitchen installers who usually carry out their own plumbing connections, we do however move main supplies or install gas equipment if required.

Hot Water

Heating up the water in a stored vessel, cylinder etc. with a gas boiler, Electric Immersion heater or element, as in Electric over the sink heaters.
